This marks the fourth time in 17 years that we’ve had the pleasure of designing and building a website for Golf Vacations UK.
Our relationship with them predates even the founding of my own business. Their previous site had served well for several years, but it had begun to show its age, especially when compared to more modern competitor websites.
The website underwent a complete redesign, with a strong focus on improving user experience. Our goal was to make it easier for visitors to find the information they needed and to streamline the enquiry process for potential clients.
Golf Courses, Accommodation and Testimonials now have their own Custom Post Types, so they are easier to add, maintain and filter.
Although the site contained over 500 pages, many were quite brief. To enhance usability and navigation, we consolidated some pages and implemented permanent redirects to ensure a smooth transition without page not found errors.
